He plays guitar like a God. Some think he’s equally entertaining without it. Spreading the fun, love and laughs, Walter Wood actively keeps his team tuned up and amped to perform.
As lead player, Wood coordinates every endeavor, validates all creative and oversees operations from concept development to media strategy. A University of Florida graduate with a major in Advertising and a minor in Mathematics, Wood got his industry bearing working for multiple Gainesville radio and television stations. After a 2-½ year stint at a Cocoa Beach Ad agency, he founded MTN in his very own apartment with $400, a Tandy 1000 and great clients like Hydro Aluminum, Post Properties of Atlanta, Premium Pest Control and All Florida Paint.
Admittedly, his active involvement in church continues to have a profound impact on his professional philosophy of fairness, mutual benefit and benignity. A self-proclaimed family man, Wood enjoys boating with wife, Carrie, and two of the inarguably cutest kids of all time. When he’s not dusting off his hard-earned tennis and golf trophies, you can catch him surfing, writing, shooting hoops and naturally, rocking out with The Pool Boys at local beachside bars.
