MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH BOARDS
Moms give so much of their time, energy and love without asking for anything in return.
This Mother’s Day, make it all about them with these homemade charcuterie board ideas prepared by MTN’s Ashley, Somer, Jessica and Joanie.
Start with smoked salmon lox bagels. Spread the cream cheese on first, adding tomatoes, thinly sliced smoked salmon, red onions, and capers. If she prefers to make her own, you can also serve the toppings on the side.
Add in mini dishes of quiche lorraine, made with eggs, heavy cream, bacon, and Swiss cheese. You can also try variations with spinach and feta, mushroom and Swiss, or broccoli and cheddar.
Round things out with a bagel and pastry board, filled with all of her favorite indulgences: chocolate-drizzled croissants, cinnamon raisin bagels, rich cherry and cream cheese danishes, and blueberry scones.
To complete the display, set up a coffee bar with flavored syrups (lavender, vanilla bean or caramel), a side of creamer and a fresh pot of her favorite roast.
She may say she doesn’t play favorites, but after this brunch, you’ll definitely top the list.
Happy Mother’s Day!
