About the American Advertising Awards Space Coast District
The American Advertising Awards also known as the ADDY Awards is the largest creative competition in the advertising industry in the United States. It is conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation AAF to recognize excellence in advertising marketing and design.
The Space Coast competition represents the local AAF club serving the Space Coast region of Florida. It is the first tier of a three tier competition structure. Entries compete locally and Gold ADDY winners advance to the district level competition. District winners then move on to the national American Advertising Awards competition.
The awards are open to professionals including agencies in house marketing teams freelancers media companies and creative professionals. There is also a student competition for college and university students.
Judging is conducted by industry professionals and entries are evaluated based on creativity strategy execution and overall effectiveness. Gold ADDY awards are presented for the highest level of creative excellence and Silver ADDY awards recognize outstanding work that also merits distinction.
